Plantation Trekking
Kalgudda Plantation is one of the best plantations located on mountain area. Our plantation is surrounded by tropical plantations worked by neighborhood farmers growing coffee, clove, banana, oranges and a lot more. Oone to two hour walk will offer you the possibilities to explore our Plantation’s surroundings, discover the natural beauty of coffee and other farming and to interact with charming farmers. Visitors are guaranteed to spot some of the indigenous birds.

Malanad Food
The cuisine home cooked and includes a taste of chikmagalore malnad food like "Akki Roti" and "Koli Saaru" (chicken curry) & Shavige, Kadabu, Kesuvina soppu, Patrode etc...
Not to forget the endless cups of aromatic chikmagalore coffee.
Mountain Trekking

We offer trekking facelity for some hills that are near to our homestay.
Hilly regions near to our homestay where trekking can be done are Ane Dibba, Sishila Gudda, Devi Gudda etc...

Water Fall Visit
Kalgudda homestay is located in mountain area, mountains are the birth place of rivers.
Many waterfalls spots are near to our homestay, we provide the facelity to visit the water falls.
Some waterfalls that are located nearby are Shankar Falls, Kalatgiri Falls, habbe Falls etc...

Camp Fire
We offer the facility of Campfire in our home stay. A campfire is a fire lit at a campsite, to serve the following functions: light, warmth, a beacon, to cook, and for a psychological sense of security. Campfires are a popular feature of camping. Firewood and other necessary items will be provided.
Solar Light
Solar light facelitily is provided in our homestay, for evening walk and campfire.
